Entry Fees: The cost for shooting in a regular club match is $10.00 for each guage/event fired. Target cost is included in the entry fee.

Rules:
Each match will consist of two twenty-five shot rounds (one round for each field), for a total of 50 shots in each guage fired.
We will shoot 12, 20, 28, and 410 guages, as participation requires.
We will also shoot two twenty-five shot rounds of regular 12 gauge doubles (one round each field) 50 targets.
Maximum allowable onces of lead shot per gauge is as follows: 12 ga.= 11/8 oz.; 20 ga.= 7/8 oz.; 28 ga.= 3/4 oz.; 410 bore= 1/2 oz.
We suggest you bring plenty of ammunition, since we will shoot proof doubles, re-shoot targets thrown, that are accidentally broken from either trap house, or when both targets are broken on the first shot while shooting doubles. Gun malfunctions may also require a re-shoot.
Since all club matches are for enjoyment competitors may be asked to pull and keep score when not shooting. Scorekeeper may also request help from the puller or other shooters in calling a shot to accurately score the match.
Remember, chips do count!
In the event of a tie, after adding Handicap, the final competitors will shot in a Scratch sudden death shoot-off. Shoot-off will proceed as a regular round, eliminating shooters as they miss.
Scoring: Averages will be maintained for each gauge in the current calender year for each person shooting. Averages will be calculated on total targets broken, divided by the number of matches participated in, rounded up to the next whole number, during the current year. A Handicap will then be established for each gauge or event shot. Shooters must maintain Handicaps established from the previous year. Handicaps will be calculated based on the running average after last match shot.
example: (37 + 40 + 38) = 115/3 = 38.33 = 39 average.
Handicaps will be calculated as follows: 50 minus last average multiplied by 80% (.80) and rounded down to the next whole number.
Example: (50 - 39) = 11 x .80 = 8.8 = 8
(Note: A list of values to be used as handicaps is shown below.)
Handicap. The net score for any match including handicap will not be greater than 50. A score including handicap can tie a straight 50.
Winner determined by shoot-off.

Range Management: All safety rules must be followed at all times. Shooters are to show open breeches at all times unless they are on shooting station pad, ready to fire. Two rounds may be laoded at any station, although gun must show clear before leaving station pad. Shooters are asked to fill the machines and police up the area after they have shot. The club requirement to be off the ranch at dusk must be followed even if it means cutting the match before all the shooters have completed their rounds.
