Eligibility: Competition is open to all. Our club is a private facility and match director must be contacted for access if you’re not a member.
Non-members: please contact Match Director at 22trainer@trcgc.org before the event date to get a one-day gate code to gain access to the Ranch.
This competition is designed to provide a match for those who like to shoot old military .22 training rifles and enjoy meeting others having a similar interest. We will be shooting any “as issued” .22LR trainer rifle that was used by any country’s military. Any .22LR sold by the CMP with US Property markings such as the Kimber 82G, Remington 40-X, Remington 513-T, Winchester 52, Winchester 75, Mossberg 44US, Mossberg 42MB, Harrington & Richardson M-12, and Springfield M1922 is able to be used. Also military .22LR trainers from other countries are welcome as well. All matches will start after the Semi-Auto Rifle match around 2:00 PM.
The normal course of fire is on the 100 yard bench rest range and consists of 3 targets. The first target is for small group. The last two targets are for score. The winner of each target gets a dollar and the winner of the combined score gets 2 dollars of the $5.00 entry fee back. Each target consists of 10 rounds. The total rounds needed are 30 plus however many sighters are needed. The match will be shot by posting a sighter target plus 3 regular targets at the same time. Time will be limited to 35 minutes including time for sighters. The target used is the TQ-4(P) 100 Yard Smallbore Rifle.
Hearing and eye protection are required for all participants.
