75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
On December 7, 1941, the Japanese military attacked Pearl Harbor in an attempt to destroy the United States Pacific Fleet.
Just before 8 a.m., a swarm of Japanese fighter planes descended on Pearl Harbor and began dropping bombs.
The attack destroyed 20 naval ships and more than 300 planes. More than 2,000 crewmembers lost their lives.
