Thursday Outdoor Pistol Practice (TOPP)
Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, 9am to 12pm at Bullseye pistol range
The Bullseye Pistol Range is reserved Thursday mornings from 8:00 AM to Noon.  Shooting starts at 9:00.  Set up starts about 8:00.  Come early and help set up and visit.
Organized pistol practice utilizing a variety of courses of fire to entertain, improve shooting skills and enhance decision making skills all with an emphasis on safety. 
Equipment needed:
Center fire handgun.  Semi-auto preferred but revolver OK.
Eye and Ear protection.
Holster and Mag carrier.
At least one extra magazine.
If using a revolver, extra speed loaders are helpful.

Combined Military Rifle Competition-Bench Rest Range
Saturday, November 4th, 2023, 8:30am to 12:15pm at Bench Rest Range on Zink Ranch
All are welcome, you do not have to be a member to participate. If you enjoy shooting old military rifles, this is the one for you!  The 1st Saturday of each month these competitions are held at the Bench Rest Range and shot at 100 yds.
ATTENTION: The Zink Ranch is a gated facility, to get an entry code, non-members must contact the Director at
918-402-9376 in advance and to get more information.
 
Single Action Cowboy Regular first Sunday Match

You'll need your firearm

gun cleaning kit or gun cleaning products
newspapers or an old towel to cover your workspace
(I like to buy the puppy pads at Dollar Tree; use them them toss them)
toothbrush(new)
q-tips (I like the pointed ones from the Walmart makeup section)
Gun bore cleaner (I like Hoppe's or Ballistol)
Lubricating gun oil (Hoppe's, Outers, etc.)
Cotton cleaning patches
 
Most cleaning products can be purchased at Academy, Bass Pro, or any gun store
such as Sooner Guns or SCI (in Bixby or out east near the Cherokee Casino)
 
Reservations REQUIRED as space is limited so please contact Sherry by text, phone or email.
NOTE: NO LOADED GUNS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.  NO LIVE AMMO ALLOWED IN THE
CLASSROOM.  YOUR FIREARM WILL BE INSPECTED BEFORE WE BEGIN.
REMEMBER THE 4 SAFETY RULES: 1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
                                                   2. Keep your finger (primary safety) off the trigger until your sights are aligned and you
                                                       are ready to shoot.
                                                   3. Never point the firearm at anything you don't intend to kill.
                                                   4. Know your target and what is beyond it.

This is NOT a gun instruction class; it is the class where you will learn the gun laws that apply to gun owners. You must know how to load, shoot and unload your own firearm safely. You will be shooting 50 rounds at the indoor range. Meeting the third Thursday of each month at 1830 (Indoor Range and main Meeting Room).  Purpose of group is to educate participants in the history, concepts and techniques involved with situational awareness and self defense.
800 PT XTC Sanctioned CMP Match
Saturday, November 18th, 2023, 7am to 3:30pm at HIgh-Power Range
800 PT Across the Course Match Course of Fire (800 Point - 80 Rounds)   
Course of Fire: 88 Shots 
•  2 Sighting Shots/20 Shots - Slow Fire Standing - 200 yards - 22 Minutes 
•  2 Sighting Shots/(2 Strings of 10) Rapid Fire Sitting/Kneeling(Shot from Position) 200 yards -60 Sec 
•  2 Sighting Shots/(2 Strings of 10) - Rapid Prone(Shot from Position) - 300 Yards -70 Sec 
•  2 Sighting Shots/20 Shots Slow Fire Prone – 600 Yards – 22 Minutes   
 
There will be no breaks, please plan accordingly with snack and water.
Competitors shooting .223, please note you must shoot at least a 75 grain bullet at 600 yards.
 
Entry $10.00 Junior Free
 
Entry to ranch gate begins at 7:00 AM. Please do not enter the gate prior to posted time.  
 
Anyone who enters prior to the listed time, will be asked to leave the ranch, and will be eliminated from participating in the matches and loss of match fees. Please follow all speed limit signage on the ranch.    
 
This competition is open to any eligible competitor, you need not be a member of the NRA, CMP or Red Castle Gun Club.  
 
No person who has been convicted of a Federal or State felony or any violation of Section 922 of Title 18, U. S. Code, is eligible to participate in any activity sponsored or sanctioned by the CMP.    
 
Current CMP High Power Rifle Rules will Govern all matches. It is the responsibility for participants to know the rules and course of fire for the matches.       
ALL competitors must sign Red Castle Gun Club, Waiver Agreement, prior to participating.        
 
No Ammunition will be distributed for this match, it is the responsibility for each competitor to provide their own ammunition.    
 
Matches will be shot on the Shot Marker Electronic Target System; each participant will need to provide their own Wi-Fi device.   When using the electronic scoring system, the scorer/verifier, will use paper scorecards, the paper scorecard is the official record of the match.
 
All shooters must perform scoring duties, and if necessary, pit duties.    
 
A fee of $3.00 for challenges.      
 
No data will be cleared and no changes of score is permitted without authorization of match official.      
 
Ear and eye protection must be worn on firing line and during pit duties, this is in accordance to the CMP Rulebook.    
 
Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) is required at all times except in actual firing or preparation time.      
 
The purpose of the CMP matches is to provide a friendly environment to support the improvement of civilian marksmanship.
Any verbal abuse toward competitors and or match officials, will result in the automatic removal from match and range.    
 
No alcohol beverages will be consumed on the Red Castle Gun Club Range or Zink Ranch Property.      
 
No smoking is permitted on the firing line and or pits, as well as the club house.    
 
Entry into the Zink Ranch will require a gate code, gate code information will be provided a week prior to matches.

LADY SHOOTERS Paper Turkey Shoot

Women's Shoot Night, 6 - 8 p.m. Our annual (paper) turkey shoot.
 
You're invited to bring a female guest who is interested in shooting.
To shoot on the range, you must know how to load, shoot and unload your firearm SAFELY.
We will go over safety rules prior to shooting.
From 6 - 6:45 p.m. we will "yak and snack."
From 6:45 - 7:00 we will transition to the range.
From 7:00 until 7:45 we will shoot.
We will dismiss at 8 p.m.
