Monday, February 3rd, 2025, 6pm to 8pm at INDOOR RANGE
Students must know how to load, shoot, and unload safely. We will shoot approximately 75 - 100 rounds. You will need your firearm, ammo (NO RELOADS: factory ammunition only), eye/ear protection, and a ball cap. Registration required as we limit number of participants. The outdoor Pistol Range is reserved Thursday mornings from 8:00 AM to Noon. Shooting starts at 9:00. Set up starts about 8:00. Come early and help set up and meet the other participants. Occasionally the event may be delayed or canceled due to weather.
This is an organized pistol practice utilizing a variety of courses of fire to entertain, improve shooting skills and enhance decision making skills all with an emphasis on safety.
We setup different courses of fire including moving while shooting, shooting from cover, moving targets etc. We use a shot timer to and record times to measure individual improvement.
Equipment needed:
Eye and Ear protection. Center fire handgun. Semi-auto preferred.
Holster and Mag carrier.
Courses vary week to week but about 75 rounds of ammo.
At least one extra magazine.

NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course

THIS IS A SUNDAY COURSE • Registration is required on https://www.nrainstructors.org • Credit and debit cards accepted over the phone or in-person for deposit and balance. Cash is always welcome. • Firearm: Students should bring their own firearm. A limited number with ammunition will be available for rent. The firearm must be a 22LR. • Ammunition: Students should bring 200 rounds of factory ammunition, or at least 100 rounds. Reloads, commercial or home-made, are not permitted. • Eye and hearing protection: Students should bring eye and hearing protection, with electronic hearing protection recommended. • Clothing: Students should wear appropriate range attire, which does not include open-toed shoes or low-cut clothing.
