Jump back into the 1800's and join us for another thrilling round of Cowboy Action shooting out at the outdoor range in our "hometown", the Cowboy Town we call "Buzzard Gulch". We all dress up in our best cowboy duds and come together for a rousing match of timed target shooting with our single action weapons. That's right! No automatics or semi-automatics here! We tote around 6 shooters in our leather!

 

 

Not sure what Cowboy Action or Single Action Shooting is? During a typical match, we shoot 6 stages and each stage consists of about 10 rifle rounds, 10 pistol rounds, and 2-4 (or sometimes more) shotgun shells. We shoot them in an order told to us by our RO (Range Operator) as fast as we can! Misses and penalties (shooting out of order, for instance) add time to our score.

Don't have the guns, but want to come see what it's all about? Don't worry! We're friendly folk and we like to share our love of the game. We'll gladly put some guns in yer' hands if yer' willing to play safely with us. 

Kids are welcome to come watch or join as well, as we are a family-friendly sport. Our biggest rule is safety, safety, safety. If they can hold and operate the guns by themselves, they can shoot with us, and we'll be there to make sure they do everything safely, too.
