Children's Firearms & Safety Fundamentals
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2026, 10am to 1pm at Indoor Range Classroom
The Children’s Firearms & Safety Fundamentals program provides a partnership between parents and firearms experts at Ryan Myers Training to safely teach children firearms safety, while simultaneously allowing parents to determine what education is correct for their child and their individual development.
This course is not a “how-to-shoot-a-gun” course, but rather a comprehensive safety curriculum designed for all parents and adults – gun owners or not – to facilitate important discussions about firearms and situational awareness with children in the same way they would discuss fire or school safety. The program has two key components: ◻ Fundamental Safety Lecture ◻ Family-Focused Safety Series
There are no prerequisites for this program’s offerings. While we recommend that parents start with the Fundamental Safety Lecture, it is not required.
