Combined Military Rifle Competitions
Saturday, September 2nd, 2017, 8am to 2pm at Outdoor Ranges on Zink Ranch
These Competitions are designed to provide those who like vintage military weapons and enjoy meeting others having similar interest a chance to get together and compete. Bring your old bolt-action rifles, semi-auto rifles and .22 trainers for a day of fun and showmanship. Participation in these matches also qualify you for CMP rifle sales. Download and print this form and have the Match Director help you fill it out.
Eligibility: Competition is open to all. If you are not a member, simply contact the Match Directorfor information on how to gain access to the Zink Ranch.
Directions to Range: From Sand Springs, follow SH 97 north to gates of Zinc Ranch. Enter ranch proper, enter gate code to enter ranch and follow signs to range.
Firing Times:
– .22 Military Training Rifles:
Relay 1 starts at 9:00am for 30 minutes total
sign-in at 8:30am
Iron Sights or Scoped
Course of Fire for .22 Military Trainer – Four (4) targets per station; one sighter, one group ten rounds; score one and score two ten round each, unlimited sighters, time limit 30 minutes.
– Military Bolt Action Rifles:
Relay 2 starts at 10:00am for 40 minutes total
be there at least 15 minutes early
Iron Sights or 4x Scope max
Course of Fire for Military Bolt Action Rifle – Four (4) targets total. One sighter unlimited rounds and one for group ten rounds to be set for the firstround. Second round, score 1 and score 2, ten rounds each,time limit 40 minutes.
– Military Semi Auto:
NO AR platform rifles!! If you are interested in competing with this type of rifle, notify the Club in writing. If enough people are interested, we will have a fourth relay.
Relay 3 starts at 11:00am for 40 minutes total

It can take 1½ to 2 hours to shoot a round of sporting clays. Please plan accordingly.
Non-members must contact the Match Director for Range access information in advance.
Our Sporting Clays Range is set-up for use by ALL skill levels, ALL the time!!
Each of our shooting stations have multiple throwing machines apiece! Each station is clearly labeled and color coded as to what each of the machines will do. No matter your skill level, from beginner to expert; choose your comfort level and blast away!!
Fees:
Members: $10.00 for 50 birds and $20 for 100
Non-Members & Guests: $15.00 for 50 birds and $30 for 100

Saturday, September 9th, 2017, 8am to 3pm at Outdoor Ranges on Zink Ranch
Location: John Zink Ranch - 9 miles north of Sand Springs on State Hwy 97 Gate access begins at 07:00. Enter the one-day gate code given to you by the Match Director and follow the signs to the range.

Rules: Current NRA High Power Rifle Rules apply. Competitors must perform score keeping and target pulling duties.
Eligibility: NRA Open Tournament. NRA membership is not required but is strongly recommended.
Non-members are Welcome to participate, but they must contact Match Director in advance to get a one-day gate code to access the Ranch.
Entry Fees: Adults $20.00, Juniors $5.00
Entries: Entries close at 08:30 and the match will begin around 09:00

CMP VINTAGE SNIPER MATCH & IRON SIGHT, INC., SNIPER MATCH OPEN
Saturday, September 16th, 2017, 8am to 2pm at Outdoor Ranges on Zink Ranch
CMP rifles include the M1 Garand/1903 Springfield/1917 Krag.
Modern Military Rifles include the M14/AR15/AK47/SKS/BM59/FNFAL etc. 
Course of Fire: Match is shot at 200 yards. Stages include: Slow fire prone (15 rounds in 15 
minutes includes five non-scoring sighters); Rapid-fire prone (starting from standing 
positions- 80 seconds for 10 rounds); Slow-fire standing (10 rounds in 10 minutes.) Total 35 
rounds. (The match is governed by the latest CMP Competition Rules.)
(NO ammunition is provided by the club, shooters to provide their own safe ammunition.) 
Medals will be issued in accordance to CMP regulations 
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE MODERN MILITARY MATCH 
Squadding will take place after Modern Military Match 
has completed and results and medals are received.
CMP VINTAGE SNIPER MATCH 
& IRON SIGHT, INC., SNIPER MATCH OPEN 
CMP Vintage Sniper Team Match: to be shot in accordance to CMP Rules. 
Iron Sight, Inc., Sniper Team Match (is non-sanctioned CMP Match, but 
will utilize the same course of fire & scoring format) rifles to include post 
Korean War to 1975 sniper rifles. (3X9 scopes). 
Targets: 300 yards & 600 yards 
Course of Fire: Consists of five minutes of sighting shots and 10 shots for record, for each 
team member at 300 yards and five minutes of sighting shots and 10 rounds for record for 
each team member at 600 yards. Each team fires a total of 40 shots for record. 
CMP Medals for sanctioned match to be issued in accordance to CMP regulations. 
Medals will be awarded for non sanctioned match. 
Iron Sight, Inc., providing scope prizes to the top individual sniper of each match. 
Entry Fee: $10.00 per shooter ($20.00 per team)

.22 Rifle Silhouette Match
Saturday, September 16th, 2017, 9am to 2pm at Outdoor Ranges on Zink Ranch
Eligibility: Competition is open to all. Our club is a private facility and Silhouette Officer must be contacted for access if you're not a member.
Non-members: please contact Silhouette Officer before the event date to get a one-day gate code to gain access to the Ranch.
Directions to Range: From Sand Springs, follow SH 97 north to gates of Zinc Ranch. Enter ranch proper, enter gate code to enter ranch and follow signs to range.
Rules: Current NRA Rules will apply. Current year NRA Silhouette Rule Books will be available to purchase from the Silhouette Officer.
Entry Fees: $5.00 for one classification plus $4.00 for each additional classification you shoot in. If you do not have a current year NRA Silhouette Classification Book, they will be available for purchase from the Silhouette Officer for $13.00 each.
Firing Times: Official Match Begins at 10:00 AM. Practice firing starts at 9:00 AM.
Match Schedule and Conditions:
The course of fire consists of ten (10) shots each on:
Chickensat 40 meters
Pigsat 60 meters
Turkeysat 77 meters
Ramsat 100 meters
Each competitor will fire on two sets of five targets before targets are reset. If any competitor knocks down all ten of a set ("ten straight") he/she will be permitted to continue firing for the purpose of establishing a "Long Run" record at the conclusion of the match.
Award Catagories:
First in Class 2 to 3 Competitors*
Second in Class 4 to 6 Competitors
Third in class 7 or more Competitors
High Junior 2 or more Competitors
High Woman 2 or more Competitors
Overall Match Winner
Pins will be awarded for "5-in-a-row" and "10-in-a-row" in any category. (AAA and Master Classifications are eligible for "10-in-a-row" pins only.)
*NOTE: Competitor may choose to move up to the next higher Class with an entrant at their discretion.
General Information: Soft drinks, snacks, water and lavatory facilities are available at the Range Club house.

It is strongly encouraged that you compete in several 600 yard matches prior to shooting a long range match. Also any competitor that does not hit the target within the first 5 rounds will be disqualified for safety reasons.
